UPDATE, June 23: A contractor will continue paving and resurfacing work on East University Drive between Gatewood Drive and The Vintage development June 25-July 3. The outside westbound lane will be closed during the work from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area. This work will lead to the opening of a westbound right turn lane, as well as a center turn lane to improve traffic flow in the area.

UPDATE, May 9: A contractor will continue curb and gutter work on East University Drive between Gatewood Drive and The Vintage development May 13-20. The outside westbound lane will be closed during work. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.

April 28: AUBURN, Ala.- A portion of East University Drive will be closed April 30 through May 2, for a contractor to install a new curb and gutter.

The outside westbound lane will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. from 2172 E. University Drive to 2298 E. University Drive. Traffic control measures will be in place to maintain traffic flow. The lane will reopen at 3 p.m. each day until work is completed.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
